I went to LOS on a recommendation from a doctor who frequents LV for various seminars. Like you, he's been to LOS several times. He, in fact, told me to make my reservation BEFORE I left NJ. And just as you said, the line was long when we left.
Although you found the isaan sausauge a 'stinker' the Nam Kao Tod appetizer was amazing! I can't stop thinking about it. I even tried to duplicate, best to my abilities. Needless to say, mine was pretty bad. That said, I respect and admire LOS for their best and worst, because it's just not that easy to create great thai dishes. Anyone going to LV has to make this a destination.

Hi Gretchen - Thanks for dropping by and commenting. Funny thing about that Nem Khao....I used to enjoy it too, until I had a version much better here in San Diego...and than to top that off, and even better version in Vientiane.
