Hi Lindy - You know, I was just in the area a few days ago...and wondering what happened to Chef Tony. I haven't heard anything yet, but hope we get word soon.

Hi again,
Thanks for answering. Tony lives in North County and he was talking (before he closed) about opening his new restaurant up there or at least half way, up towards north. So if you were looking for him to open in the same area, I don't believe he will. Does anyone have his number to call him? I called the number off of an old menu, left a message asking about when and where they might open, but never got a reply.
Here's hoping.................

Lindy- try for excellent $5 chicken schwarma. Downtown, on the block just north of Market on 9th. It is as good or better than Chef Tony's.

Thank you, thank you. I will go there tomorrow : )
Really. I want it bad..........
How is their falafel?
And Tony's tahini sauce was the best, not to speak of the garlic spreak. YUM!
Thanks much,
