long time reader, first time poster (longest time eater)

Hi Denny - Thanks for participating! Enjoy your coffee...and keep on eating!

It's not a comment, it's more of a question----> do you know a restaurant/place where I can buy a good whole lechon baboy (already cook of course)in Los Angeles California? I have a gathering to attend in the near future where we are given an opportunity to show off our heritage&culture in food. I hope you could help me. --- You can call me Beth

Hmm, maybe I'll add a contest like this to my blog.

Hi Beth - I've been asking around - so hopefully I'll come up with something. What part of LA W. Covina, Artesia......

Hi ChristianZ - Long time no hear! Hope all is well. This was alot of fun....I'll probably be doing another in the near future.

Wow it all looks so good. You took excellent pictures.

The kare kare there is great all the times i've been there and they don't mess around w/ chunks of beef. They use real oxtail.

I guess it was a hit and miss type deal for you, but it's usually all good when I eat there. Could be different cooks?? hmm...??? =)

Gives you a very homely feeling as if your mom was in the back cooking.

The prices are way cheaper than other places. Villa Manila like 16.00 for kare kare compared to what like 7.00??? There's nothing much over 7.00...

Bulaklak there is sarap to the bone! along w/ all the SI-Logs...

I was on the net and tried to see if they had a website today and they do. You can download the menu and print it out. worked for me, but when searching on google, your review was the first to come up. Oh well.

Glad to read your reviews. Keep up the good work? or good eating?
