Kirk, I was wondering when you were going to do a post on this place since it's in the 'hood. Lately I have not ordered poke at any restaurant because they end up making the ahi a vehicle for their spices. Seems like many increase some of the spices in Sam Choy's book multiple times. I really like this place and waited very patiently when they first had their sign up before they opened.

Oh yeah, the fish salad is a perfect summer dinner too!

Hi Jack - Howszit? Haven't heard from you for a while. BPFC is a really nice neighborhood place, it was about time that I did a post on it.

Felt like we were robbed !! Just "okay" food; VERY OVERPRICED!! Never again....
$12.50 for 4 small pieces of bland fish served over a pile of french fries....That is Fish and Chips...robbery!

Should you ever revisit BPFC, be sure to try their spicy crab and tuna torta. This, along with the fish an chips, are my mainstays. When I'm feeling overloaded I get just the calamari salad. I really enjoy the dressing. (If you've got company that ordered something with fries, sprinkle some on the salad for a really fun texture combination.)
