Hi Stephanie - Had very mediocre Pho here. Which Pho Ca Dao location are you speaking of? Mira Mesa or ECB?

My husband and I have be going to Pho Cali, since they opened. I think it's been about 2 years. We are always very happy with the food and the service. The owner is very nice. We have gone just about every Sunday, and we will miss it when we move next year!
It's a great place for a great bowl of Pho, at a great price! The lemonade is great too!

Hi akilamonique - It's always good to have a favorite Pho shop....personally, I prefer the short drive up the hill to Linda Vista.

Wish i had read your post before trying Pho Cali last week. I ordered the beef stew, which was pretty much all tripe. My friend's beef with noodles was just bland noodles in salty beef stock. Price was right, but that was about it.

Hi Dan - Like I said, the best thing about Pho Cali is the pond. BTW, try out Banh Mi Bo Kho, the Beef Stew with Bread, I enjoy it much more. But not here....
